I have asked people who complain about settlers why it is taken for granted that Jews are not permitted to live in 'Palestine' while Arabs can live in Israel. The answer, if they have one, often comes down to their belief that the land -- including Israel proper -- 'really belongs' to the Arabs.

The comparison between Jews who want to live in the historical land of Israel, and the 'Hamas' whose aim is to destroy the state of Israel is not only mistaken, it is immoral.
But it is true that both these groups stand in the way of a 'two-state solution' based on the 67' lines. The 'demonization' of the Jews of Judea and Samaria thus comes out of 'good intentions' the intention to have Israel live in Peace. Unfortunately, here the road to Hell is truly paved with good intention, as the Palestinians have no real interest in such Peace.
