Does he want as his intelligence gatekeeper someone essentially hostile to Israel? If he does, then we are truly in big trouble. For it indicates that all his talk about caring for Israel's security is a fake, or rather that he perceives Israel's security in the way that Walt- Mearsheimer do. i.e. His aim will be to diminish Israel to scale it down , to weaken it so that it 'fits' into the area. What is most disturbing to me is that it is hard for me to believe that President Obama does not know who Freeman is, and what he will get from him. Again if that is truly the case, then I personally consider myself to have been a total fool to this point in trusting the President. All his great abilities which I thought of as assets for us may turn out to be sources of danger and liability. Again, this is worrisome in the extreme.
