		<description>This is all worrisome. But no real changes can be made on the ground without Israel&#039;s consent. The determination of the Netanyahu government to stand for what is right for Israel is thus the major countervailing factor.
On another front  I do not know how the strongly Democratic Congress will relate to the &#039;tilt&#039; in the direction of the &#039;Palestinians&#039;. My sense is that Israel still has the kind of support in Congress which will prevent the Obama Administration going too far in their &#039;tilt&#039;. I also think that the Obama Administration understands that their coming to be perceived as anti- Israel will not do them any good on a number of important fronts.</description>
