		<description>The problem is not that they don&#039;t understand that they won&#039;t get peace. It&#039;s that their goal is Israeli withdrawal, and &#039;peace&#039; is a secondary goal, which they fool themselves will be a byproduct. It makes them feel better -- a rationalization.

I suspect Obama himself believes that Israeli concessions will bring peace, but, for example, Fred Hof understands the region well and I would be surprised if he thought it was so simple.</description>

		<description>Again and again we see American diplomacy based on &#039;wishful thinking&#039; and a failure to take into account the actual positions of the Arab and Islamic side. The focusing and flattering of those who have no intention of making true peace aggravates the situation, time and time again. It appears that each new American Administration failures to learn the lessons of the previous ones failure. And always the question for them is how to make Israel withdraw so that their imaginary peace will come.</description>
