This kind of intimidation and silencing of the other undermines the very foundation of free inquiry and search for truth, which the Academy is supposed to be about. Secondly, we see how far the deterioration has gone when there is the doubt that a representative of a pro- Israel point- of- view may not even be allowed a fair hearing at a Jewish university.
