The increasing radicalization of Israeli Arabs is at least in part a product of the failure of the Israeli political and legal establishment to deal with the seditious actions of Israeli Arab political leaders. It too has to do with the failure in education which has been in great part promoted by the Israeli Left. For the Shulamit Aloni school of thought the Israeli Arabs had only rights and privileges, but had no duties towards the state. So in time what has happened is that the minority has become increasingly active in actions against the State. These are diverse including incitement in regard to the whole Temple Mount issue, illegal building in many areas, general avoidance of all tax obligations. Of course there is also a connection with changes in the Arab world , increasing Islamization.
It seems to me that the time has come for the Jewish majority to more strongly insist upon increasing adherence to the law from the Arab sector.
