		<description>While one's heart goes out to the families of the soldiers taken prisoner one cannot turn aside from past precedents. The massive releases of prisoners in the past have not only encouraged future kidnappings - they have led to large- scale terror actions in which there were many killed. 
The analysis of the problem given here by Vic Rosenthal- and his prescription for Israeli action- is the wisest I have seen. 
And this when it is difficult to be in any way happy about what the right thing is to do here.</description>
