I am always amazed by the Palestinians. They threaten and demand, demand and threaten even when they have nothing to threaten with. Thanks to the Saudis they may have the Americans with them in some of their threats in Annapolis.
The whole 'Annapolis exercise' is as I understand it a mistake at this time. Abbas has no real control and power over his own people. What is the point?
To get points for the U.S. Administration desperately in need of success because of Iraq.
But one reason there has been failure in Iraq is because the Administration has not been willing to face up to is that its great ally Saudi Arabia is also one of its major enemies. And that dancing to its tune has not gotten it anywhere.
